I have a background in the visual arts and advertising design. Since 1999 I have worked for several communication agencies in USA and Europe. I currently work as a freelance print & interactive designer in Bordeaux, France.
This project is a self-promotional collaboration between myself and Aurélie Mandon. At the beginning of each year Aurélie mails out a CD compilation from songs submitted by her collaborators. For the 2012 version she put me in charge of the cover illustrations. I designed a rubber stamp of an antique radio as the base motif for 25 hand-drawn variations on a mask theme. This has been a great project to start the year with.
Happy 2012!
TBA contacted me to develop their Flash design proposal for a spanish real state company .
The site is mainly used to display their offers which are frequently updated. I decided to use an open-source CMS (Drupal in this case) that
would adapt itself to different types of front-end development and allow external API integration such as Google Maps.
A year after their redesigned site was published they contacted me again looking for a mobile version of the site.
I proposed a mobile design streamlined for an easy navigation and quick loading times. The development of the new version was seamlessly
integrated into the existing back-end.
SOS Vélo is a bicycle home repair and repair lessons service created by Sébastien Rambour. I chose to highlight the skilled manual work and personal contact aspect of the service. The final combination mark uses a shop sign silhouette and cog as graphical elements. I chose to keep the colors muted but with a strong contrast to give the final result a retro look.
